Wake Up Call
We keep running in cricles,
No ends, no exits, no middles;
Where the starting line's cannot be seen;
Where hopes and dreams still unforeseen.
Trapped in the middle of insanity,
Can't kindle the long lost glory;
What lies ahead is just melancholy;
In the plain sight is just mediocrity.
Vaunted people surround us,
Talking ain't important but just a fuss;
Ain't vivid, ain't shallow but purely vague;
Still keeping distance in this facade.
An unknown still awaits ahead,
We waste our lives on the wasted;
To justify is not within reach;
But they stay fake and still do preach.
We're getting tired and haunted,
The sparkle of light is getting faded;
Long lost glory where can be found;
Hear the voices beneath the ground.
Shout and scream for the wake up call,
They do think they can save us all,
Don't let yourself be blinded;
For we will stay undivided.
The clean and the righteous youth we stand,
Don't you dare follow their commands;
You own yourself and only you;
This is the time to change the hue.
Break the stigma and break the chain,
It's time for us to regain the pain;
The millennials-- shouted we all;
We shout and scream for the wake up call!
